Sony VGP-BPS2C Battery review

It turns on just fine with the Sony VGP-BPS2C Battery  plugged in and battery removed, the same with the battery installed. I’ve checked all the contacts on the battery and adapter, they are clean and not broken. I don’t have any other adapters or laptops to test with.. when I run the self help diagnostic tool (in the Dell Support Center), it just turns my laptop of as there is zero power. I’m unsure as to whether I need a new AC adapter or battery.. I’m really hoping it’s not the motherboard.

When I told such things to my friend who once have the same problem about Sony Vaio VGN-C60 Battery , he asked me whether my battery is probably just past the one year warranty, his Sony VAIO PCG-V505EC Battery  is doing essentially the same thing at only 15 months old. I think Dell purchased a batch of cheap Sony Vaio VGN-FS Battery that were engineered to fail outside of the warranty. The whole “battery life depends on your usage” argument just doesn’t wash.

One of the most common issues with Sony Vaio VGN-T Battery  is overheating. Not that the batteries are designed poorly or improperly but due to, in most cases, user wear and tear. While the laptop is using the AC adapter for power the battery acts as a back up in case of a loss of power or accidental unplugging. During this AC power use the   becomes hotter than it would if being used independently. To lessen the chances of this overheating, which leads to a shorter life expectancy of the battery, keep the AC power adapter plugged in only if you need to charge the battery while using the device.

for small business,  does have some very cool related features. It is packed with some of the latest technologies, connectivity options and comes with exceptional support all at a great price – so you can achieve more while spending less. With Vostro laptops, you get can get the big business technologies without the big business price. This is how Dell design it for small business.
